Lioness Star Michael Kelly Hints at Summer 2025 Release for Season 3

Fans of Lioness may not have to wait much longer for season three of Taylor Sheridan's hit series on CIA black operations and Tier One commandos.

The show has drawn strong viewership through two seasons with its dark, gritty and violent action. Season two ended in December 2024 with an epic mission in Iran.

Michael Kelly, a star of the series, told Collider that production has wrapped and a release could come by late summer. "We have completed it, and I don’t know for sure [what I can tell people], but I think it’s [coming out] somewhere around the end of the summer, probably, it’ll come out. It’s really good, man. Really fun," Kelly said in an interview published Tuesday.

That timeline would align with season one's late-July 2023 debut. Kelly is not the only cast member to share updates. Jill Wagner posted on Instagram in March that filming had ended. "To try to capture the last 5 months in 20 pics is impossible…..season 3 was EPIC. Every single moment was golden to me," she wrote.
