Jacob Fatu refused Roman Reigns' demand for an acknowledgment ceremony on Monday Night Raw, despite warnings from general manager Adam Pearce and Jimmy Uso. Reigns had expected Fatu to acknowledge him after losing the World Heavyweight Championship, per their contract signing. Fatu rejected the idea.

Instead, Fatu chose violence. He ignored Jey Uso's pleas and headbutted him multiple times. "What you think? You want me to come and acknowledge you, Roman?" Fatu said. "Hell no! You’re going to beat that acknowledgement out of me."

Fatu charged the ring, stared down Reigns, and the two traded blows. Reigns gained the upper hand with multiple chair shots. But the Samoan Werewolf fought back. When Reigns attempted a spear, Fatu countered with a superkick and Tongan death grip.

Fatu taunted the Tribal Chief during the beating. He powerbombed Reigns through the announce table, then applied another Tongan death grip as officials tried to intervene. Spotting the Usos aiding Reigns, Fatu sprinted back and drove all three through the barricade.

In another segment, Seth Rollins assisted Street Profits in a six-man tag match win over The Vision. Rollins took out Bron Breakker outside the ring, allowing Angelo Dawkins to roll up Austin Theory for the victory.

Rollins entered the ring to help Dawkins, but stepped aside as Breakker speared Dawkins. Montez Ford questioned Rollins' involvement. Backstage, Rollins told Ford and Dawkins, "If you boys are serious about getting the tag titles off The Vision, then it’s time we talked."

Ford rejected any partnership. "You know, Seth, you’re every single thing they say about you," Ford said. "Everybody. The greatest in our generation. A revolutionary. But you know what they also say? You’re not to be trusted. We don’t need your a-- to win the tag team championship. Bet on that."

Rollins admitted he was wrong to suggest they keep business separate. Street Profits face Logan Paul and Theory for the tag titles in two weeks.

Dominik Mysterio defended the AAA Mega Championship against Original El Grande Americano on Raw, the first such defense on WWE programming. Mysterio capitalized when Original El Grande Americano got distracted by El Grande Americano. He hit a 619 and frog splash for the win.

This followed WWE's announcement of a two-night Triplemania event in September, AAA's first.

Iyo Sky beat mentor Asuka at Backlash over the weekend. Backstage on Raw, before Sky faced Sol Ruca, Asuka announced her departure. "I was looking for someone to take over my passion. Finally, you’ve become the person. I’m so glad it was you," Asuka said. "I’m proud of you."

"Even if we fight, we’ll always be family. Goodbye, Asuka-san," Sky replied. Sky later defeated Ruca.

Raw results: Angelo Dawkins, Montez Ford and Joe Hendry beat Austin Theory, Logan Paul and Bron Breakker; Je’Von Evans beat Rusev; Iyo Sky beat Sol Ruca; Oba Femi beat Angel and Berto in his Open Challenge; Dominik Mysterio beat Original El Grande Americano to retain the AAA Mega Championship.
