Caitlin Clark listed as probable for Fever game against Valkyries
Caitlin Clark was listed as probable for Thursday’s game against the Golden State Valkyries as she continues to manage a back issue early in the WNBA season.
Teammate Bree Hall is also expected to be available.
Clark missed the Fever’s May 20 game against the Portland Fire, her first absence of the season. Indiana won that game 90-73 without her. The Fever reached 90 points again last Friday in a win over the Valkyries.
Clark returned to the starting lineup for last week’s rematch with the Valkyries and scored a team-high 22 points in a third straight victory.
Clark played 40 games and won Rookie of the Year in 2024. A groin strain and ankle-bone bruise limited her to 13 appearances in 2025.
On Wednesday, Clark attended a San Francisco Giants game against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Oracle Park with her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery. The two were seen wearing Giants hats.
Clark has said she became a Phillies fan because of McCaffery but also follows the Cubs, Yankees and other teams.
