Vanderbilt Pitcher Connor Fennell Taunted Batter Before Giving Up Home Run
Vanderbilt pitcher Connor Fennell celebrated after throwing an 89 mph fastball in an SEC Tournament opener against Kentucky on Tuesday, only to give up a home run on the next pitch.
Fennell shouted at the batter after the pitch, yelling that the hitter was his. The next pitch went over the fence.
Fennell is 4-2 this season with a 4.96 ERA. Vanderbilt scored seven unanswered runs after the home run and advanced to face Florida in the next round of the tournament.
