The New York Knicks are one win away from their first NBA Finals appearance since 1999. Two courtside seats for the Knicks' first home game in the Finals sold for $279,804 on StubHub, sports business reporter Darren Rovell confirmed.

That game would be Game 3. The Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs hold higher seeds than the Knicks in these playoffs.

The Knicks last won an NBA title 53 years ago. They captured championships in 1970 and 1973 with Walt "Clyde" Frazier, Phil Jackson, Dick Barnett, Willis Reed and Bill Bradley under coach Red Holzman.

Since 1973 the Knicks have reached the Finals twice. The Houston Rockets beat them in Game 7 in 1994. In 1999 the Spurs defeated New York in five games, winning Game 5 by a score of 78-77 on the Madison Square Garden floor.

New York leads the Cleveland Cavaliers 3-0 in the Eastern Conference Finals after a road win on Saturday night. The Knicks have won 10 straight playoff games. They can clinch a Finals berth on Memorial Day in Game 4 against Cleveland at 8 p.m.

As of Sunday night the cheapest ticket listed on StubHub for a potential Game 3 at the Garden is $3,554 in Section 418. The cheapest ticket for a possible Game 1 at the Oklahoma City Thunder's Paycor Center is $1,252, with one floor seat listed at $32,106.
