Shotzi signs with MLW after leaving WWE

Shotzi brought her high-energy style to Major League Wrestling last June, a month after her WWE contract expired.

She made her debut at Summer of the Beasts and signed with the promotion about nine months later. Her full-throttle approach added intensity to the MLW women’s division.

She told Fox News Digital she was not in a hurry to sign anywhere after leaving WWE. MLW reached out early, brought her in right away and understood her character, she said. The fit felt right, so she agreed to make the deal official.

“I’m having a blast,” Shotzi said. “Just like, the creative freedom that I have, the wrestling freedom that I have to just be everywhere. I feel like I’m getting my wrestling fix finally. I’m traveling the world and having some of the most amazing matches – matches that I’m so truly proud of.”

She will appear on “MLW Fusion” when the show debuts on Veeps on Saturday night. Shotzi said she welcomes the chance to reach more viewers through the promotion’s partnerships with YouTube, beIN Sports and Veeps.

She added that MLW stands out because it is willing to push boundaries in its storylines and matches. “If you love watching WWE or whatever, you’re gonna love MLW,” she said. “It’s just a good time.”
