Liv Morgan Praises Roxanne Perez as WWE's Future After Main Roster Call-Up
Roxanne Perez earned her WWE main roster call-up nearly a year ago by qualifying for the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match with a victory over Becky Lynch and Natalya.
Weeks later, she joined the Judgment Day faction, stepping in for the injured Liv Morgan as one-half of the women’s tag team champions alongside Raquel Rodriguez. The pair held the titles for more than a month before dropping them to Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair on Night 1 of SummerSlam.
Morgan has praised Perez since her arrival on Monday Night Raw. "I think Roxanne is so incredibly talented," Morgan said. "She’s so young and is so aware in the ring. She really knows what she’s doing. For us, the Judgment Day, to take our little Roxy under our wing and set her up as the next great for the next generation."
"She’s definitely under my tutelage. I’m teaching her a lot. I’m teaching her everything that I know. I’m teaching her a lot. The future of WWE is more than safe in my little Roxy’s hands."
Morgan took to Perez upon her on-screen return. Perez recently rejoined Judgment Day after a few weeks out recovering from back surgery. She and Rodriguez stood in Morgan’s corner as she defeated Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 42.
At 24, Perez has climbed the WWE ranks fast. She captured the NXT women’s championship twice and the NXT women’s tag team championship once.
