Hornets Guard LaMelo Ball and Partner Name Newborn Son LaOne
Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball and his partner Ana Montana have welcomed a son named LaOne.
Ball, 24, and Montana, born Analicia Chaves, revealed the newborn's unusual name. The couple shared the news via PEOPLE magazine.
"Welcoming LaOne into the world has changed our hearts in the best way," they stated. "Family has always meant everything to us, but becoming parents has given us an entirely new perspective on love, purpose, legacy and what truly matters most."
The name LaOne fits the Ball family tradition. Ball's brothers are Lonzo and LiAngelo, and their father is LaVar Ball.
Montana is a model and influencer with millions of followers. She kept her pregnancy largely private, sharing only curated updates. The couple has been publicly linked since 2022.
