Harry Styles' world tour will review its staging after fans complained they could not see the singer for much of the show.

The Together, Together tour opened in Amsterdam for 10 dates. Some concertgoers said the layout left them with obstructed views of the 32-year-old performer.

A tour representative told BBC Newsbeat the floor concept was meant to give fans freedom, but that all areas with restricted sightlines are being reviewed.

The pit layout lets fans who buy special packages stand in one of four sections inside the stage, with Styles performing around them. Complaints center on the 10-foot walkways that circle the floor and block sightlines for some fans at the back.

Styles' team said the design aimed to let fans experience the show from different positions instead of one fixed angle. They added that restricted areas are being adjusted where possible while meeting safety rules.

The tour has 67 dates across seven cities, including 12 nights in London, 10 in Amsterdam and 30 in New York City. Limited locations have added costs for some fans who must pay for hotels and travel.

BBC Newsbeat understands changes will be made before the London shows in June and July.

Fan Nadia Wesseling paid €350 for a ticket that included early entry to reach the front. The 19-year-old said nearly every spot in the first few rows had an obstructed view.

She said the stage design was done badly and called it ridiculous that fans paid so much to see Styles walk past only a few times. Still, she said she had the best time.

Daniel O'Conner, who also attended shows in Amsterdam, said he has never faced this issue at other concerts.
