The WNBA season starts today. Bettors can find value in several futures markets as favorites like the New York Liberty sit at +220 odds to win the championship.

The Las Vegas Aces have taken three of the past four titles and feature the league's best player. The Liberty count on Breanna Stewart, Sabrina Ionescu and Jonquel Jones. The Indiana Fever sit at +450 after reaching the semifinals last year without Caitlin Clark. The team brings depth and continuity.

The Minnesota Lynx, last season's top team, offer value at +800 despite losing depth. The Fever rank next for the bettor, followed by the Liberty.

Indiana made several key offseason signings in pursuit of the championship.

For win totals, the Chicago Sky raise questions on offense. Veterans DiJonai Carrington, Skylar Diggins, Courtney Vandersloot and Natasha Cloud focus more on defense at this stage. Take the under 19.5.

The Los Angeles Sparks finished 21-23 last year and should improve. Cameron Brink plays a full season, Nneka Ogwumike returns and Kelsey Plum handles scoring reliably. Depth remains a concern, but take the over 25.5.

Azzi Fudd questioned WNBA referees before her regular-season debut as a Dallas Wings rookie.

The Dallas Wings top the win totals bets after a 10-34 record last season. They selected Fudd No. 1 overall to join Paige Bueckers. The UConn pair should dominate, with Arike Ogunbowale as a top third scorer. Alanna Smith adds scoring, rebounding and defense. Take the over 22.5.

A'ja Wilson leads Defensive Player of the Year odds at +250. She won three of the past four, tying Smith last year. Napheesa Collier took the other. Cameron Brink offers value at +1200 with her rim protection and versatility.

Fudd ranks second for Rookie of the Year. She may play second or third option on Dallas and miss out on credit for the team's gains. Lauren Betts at +700 looks strong as an offensive force for the Washington Mystics, who will give her heavy minutes.

Paige Bueckers draws a sprinkle bet for MVP at +1400. She anchors Dallas, which should reach the playoffs with added talent. Caitlin Clark may lack playing time, and Wilson could face voter fatigue.
