Thunder rally to beat Spurs 122-113 in Game 2
Oklahoma City evened the Western Conference Finals at one game apiece with a 122-113 victory over San Antonio on Wednesday night.
The Thunder trailed by as many as 10 points in the first half before rallying in the fourth quarter. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the way with a game-high 30 points on 12-of-24 shooting. He also added nine assists, four rebounds, two blocks and a steal.
Victor Wembanyama again dominated for the Spurs. He finished with 21 points, 17 rebounds, six assists, four blocks and a steal. Wembanyama also delivered two of the game’s biggest highlights, including a putback dunk in the third quarter and an assist on Stephon Castle’s dunk over Isiah Hartenstein.
The Thunder played without Jalen Williams, who left with an injury. Despite the absence, Oklahoma City held off San Antonio’s late push to force a Game 3 on Friday in San Antonio.
