The Only Way Is Essex Star Jake Hall Dies at 35 in Majorca Villa

Jake Hall, a star of the reality TV show The Only Way Is Essex, has died at age 35 while in Spain.

The model and former footballer, who joined the cast in 2015, suffered fatal head injuries at a holiday villa in Majorca, the Sun reported.

A spokesperson for the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office said: "We are supporting the family of a British man who has died in Spain and are in contact with the local authorities."

The Spanish Civil Guard told BBC News it was investigating the incident, which "appears to be an accidental death."

The Civil Guard said the incident occurred in Santa Margarita, Majorca, on Wednesday. Officials are awaiting autopsy results.

Hall became a regular on The Only Way Is Essex after joining as a friend of Vas J Morgan. He was the ex-partner of co-star Chloe Lewis.

A former player for Boston United, Hall was also an artist. He unveiled his first sculpture in Majorca last month.

The Only Way Is Essex issued a statement: "Jake was a part of the TOWIE family for a number of years and we send our very deepest sympathies to his family and friends following today's very sad news."
