Melissa Joan Hart Shares 1997 Slave Leia Throwback for Star Wars Day
Melissa Joan Hart marked Star Wars Day by sharing photos of herself dressed as Slave Leia. The actress wore the costume for Halloween in 1997, early in her run as the star of Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
The 50-year-old pulled out one of her favorite costumes for May the Fourth. She posted the throwbacks to pay respects to the original Star Wars movies, the first three of which she counts among her favorites.
Hart has seen the second trilogy but has no plans to watch sequels or spinoffs. The images show her celebrating the holiday in authentic style, drawing praise from fans of the early films.
