An Idaho youth umpire won praise as a rising star for ejecting a coach during a game last week over a dispute about walk-up music.

Locals said the coach from a Moscow, Idaho, team approached umpire Jameson Morris to complain about inappropriate lyrics in songs played by parents of the opposing team. He demanded Morris take action.

"I've umped a lot of games here and I have not heard a single inappropriate word," Morris said in a video of the incident that has gone viral. "Coach, you're either going back to the dugout or you can forfeit, that's your choice."

Morris told the coach he could not order the parents to stop the music and offered him another chance to continue or leave. "I can call the cops and see if they care about the music," he added.

The coach kept pressing until Morris ordered him to his car. "You're gone," the teen umpire told the adult, ejecting him from the game. The coach then told his players they were done and headed home, resulting in a forfeit.

Parents said the disputed song was Rob Zombie's 2001 single "Never Gonna Stop," which has appeared in movies and served as entrance music for WWE wrestler Edge.

Jameson's father, Wade Morris, expressed pride in a Facebook post that drew more than 50,000 likes. "There are days in life when you look at your kids and you’re just like 🤨 🤦‍♂️ And then there are days where you realize they are going to be just fine!" Wade wrote. "Jameson Archer…you handled that way better than that guy deserved and honestly, you probably handled that better than 95% of adults that would have been in the same situation! Good job son! Well done!!!"
