Guardians Fan Spills Beer on Companion, Ruins Nachos in Botched Foul Ball Catch
A Cleveland Guardians fan attending a game in Sacramento earlier this week botched a foul ball catch and spilled his beer all over his wife, girlfriend or female companion.
The fan had a beer in one hand and stretched out the other arm with surprising hops as the ball headed his way. Spectators might have thought he was bound for foul ball glory in those first moments.
The ball struck his bare hand instead. Beer flew everywhere, drenching his companion, who laughed it off. The $16 stadium brew was gone, and the mishap will likely fuel future arguments, such as when he resists brunch with her parents.
Nachos suffered too. Splashed with beer, they were ruined beyond eating. Nachos cannot withstand such a dousing.
No one came away with bodily injuries. Egos suffered heavy bruising.
