Giants Fans Push for Odell Beckham Jr. Reunion as Viral Video Stirs Nostalgia

Fans of the New York Giants continue to call for a reunion with Odell Beckham Jr. despite the team's busy offseason signings.

A video of Beckham scoring a touchdown during his Giants tenure went viral on social media. "All these Giants signings have been great and all, but there’s still one final piece missing…," the poster wrote.

Eli Manning, who threw that touchdown pass to Beckham, responded with humor on X. "Guys, I’m not coming back to play! Stop asking," Manning posted.

Manning retired after the 2019 season, capping a 16-year career with the Giants. The team posted a 9-26 record in his 35 starts over his final three seasons.

Beckham ranked as one of Manning's top targets before Manning's production slipped. Manning tossed 44 touchdown passes to Beckham, more than to any other receiver in his career.

Beckham shone during five seasons with the Giants. He appeared in 59 games, hauling in 390 catches for 5,476 yards and 44 touchdowns.

The Giants traded him to the Cleveland Browns, where he spent two and a half seasons before his release. He never matched his New York output.

The Giants held a workout with Beckham recently. In 2023, he caught passes for coach John Harbaugh's Baltimore Ravens, grabbing 34 receptions for 565 yards and three scores as a depth option.

The 33-year-old Harbaugh praised Beckham in March. "He and I do talk. We do text," Harbaugh said. "We've maintained a really great relationship. He's one of my very favorite people in the world. It's not like you don't talk to guys on things like that. And certainly we have."

"We’ll just have to see where it all goes, what’s best for him, what’s best for the Giants."

The Giants remain uncertain about Beckham's future, but Manning plans to stay retired.
