EFL Investigates Southampton Spygate Scandal Ahead of Play-Off Final

The English Football League is investigating a Spygate scandal involving Championship play-off finalist Southampton, raising doubts over whether the final will proceed on Saturday, May 23.
A hearing on the matter will take place on or before Tuesday, May 19.
Southampton faces charges from the EFL for breaching rules by observing one of Middlesbrough's training sessions ahead of last Saturday's play-off semi-final first leg at the Riverside.
Southampton is scheduled to play Hull City in the final for a chance to earn promotion to the Premier League next season.
