Caitlin Clark Sets WNBA Record for Fastest to 1,000 Points, 250 Rebounds and 250 Assists
Caitlin Clark became the fastest player in WNBA history to record 1,000 points, 250 rebounds and 250 assists. She hit the mark in 54 career games, topping the previous record of 62 games set by Diana Taurasi.
LeBron James acknowledged the feat with a shout-out on Instagram. He posted, "CONGRATS @caitlinclark22," next to several clapping emojis.
The milestone occurred in Indiana's season opener against the Dallas Wings on Saturday. The Fever lost 107-104 despite strong offense from both sides. The game marked the first WNBA season opener where both teams topped 100 points.
Clark scored 20 points with seven assists and five rebounds. It was her first regular-season game since July 15, 2025. She went 7-for-18 from the field and 2-for-9 from three-point range, missing a potential game-tying three in the final seconds.
Clark left for the locker room a few times during the game, sparking an injury concern. She brushed it off afterward. "Just getting my back adjusted," she said. "Gets out of line pretty quickly. Other than that, I feel great."
Hours after the loss, Clark joined Morgan Wallen onstage at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis for his Still the Problem tour. Wallen posted video of the appearance on Instagram with the caption "22."
"We did that 🔥," Clark replied in the comments.
The Fever face the Sparks in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
