Angel Reese has never shied away from the villain role.

In Tuesday night's road game against the Dallas Wings, the Atlanta Dream forward fully embraced it. After grabbing an offensive rebound and scoring through contact early in Atlanta's 77-72 victory, Reese flexed, made the "too small" gesture and urged the booing Dallas crowd to get louder.

The "ATL Barbie" clearly enjoyed herself. Reese kept taunting the Wings with more "too small" celebrations after offensive-rebound scores as the crowd booed her.

Reese had signaled this approach was coming. In her Dream debut Saturday, where she recorded a double-double but voiced frustration with her offense, she predicted a quick turnaround.

"It was rough for me personally, but fighting on both ends is something I always do," Reese said before Tuesday's game. "If shots aren't falling, I grab them on defense, but I know I'll have a better night tonight."

She delivered. Reese tallied 12 points and 16 rebounds while going 4 for 4 at the free-throw line as Atlanta moved to 2-0. Allisha Gray paced the Dream with 26 points. Jordin Canada scored 19, and Rhyne Howard added 14.

Postgame, Reese shared the final score on her Instagram story. "2-0," she wrote. "ROAD KILLS."

Reese may not charm rival fans soon, but her new teammates have taken to her.

"She's such a positive person," Gray said after the win. "No matter the game's state, she brings us together and says we've got it. She's a hard worker and a good person. Once you connect with her, she's amazing, lovely, a joy. I have the time of my life with Angel."
