WWE's Backlash premium live event delivered on high stakes. Roman Reigns beat Jacob Fatu to keep the World Heavyweight Championship, only to suffer a brutal attack afterward. Trick Williams held onto the United States Championship when Sami Zayn got distracted by Lil Yachty during their bout.

Fans buzzed over Danhausen's mystery partner against The Miz and Kitr Wilson. Mini-hausen popped out of a cloning machine to aid the Very Nice, Very Evil star, who got backup from more Mini-hausens. Danhausen pinned The Miz for the win.

Bron Breakker scored a career highlight by dropping Seth Rollins with a torpedo spear after a tough fight.

Iyo Sky and Asuka stole the show in a grudge match. Bad blood boiled over after Asuka hit Sky with poison mist pre-bout. Sky countered two Bullet Train attacks and an Over the Moonsault to win. Asuka tried more mist, but Sky blocked it with Wade Barrett's notebook and landed the decisive Moonsault.

Post-match, a tearful Asuka hugged Sky in the ring. Before the bout, Asuka shared a cryptic window-gazing photo. Sky posted on X: "Our story comes to its final chapter with today's match. The moment the match ended, my heart was filled with all sorts of emotions. Meeting ASUKA-san, Spending the same time together, Being able to learn so much up close -- These are irreplaceable treasures to me. Thank you so much ASUKA-San. We love you ASUKA-San."

All Elite Wrestling's one-hour Fairway to Hell special at SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, earned rave reviews. The indoor golf venue kept its greens and sand traps around the ring. Darby Allin defended the AEW World Championship over Pac. Mark Davis claimed the AEW national championship from Jack Perry. Megan Bayne and Lena Kross of Divine Dominion beat Rachel Ley and Ruthie Slay. Speedball Mike Bailey topped Kiran Grey. Fans loved Allin suplexing Pac into a bunker and Pac hurling Allin from the second deck.

TNA's Leon Slater eyes history against Cedric Alexander on Thursday's Impact. A win would make Slater the longest-reigning X Division champion, topping Austin Aries' 298 days from No Surrender 2011 to vacating for a World Heavyweight title shot. Slater took the belt at Slammiversary in July 2025. Aries posted on X: "Big fan of @LEONSLATER_ and I have no doubt he will surpass my record, but he will also do it having never stepped in the ring with me. Number of days is great, but quantity ≠ quality."

Mason Rook debuted aggressively in WWE NXT. After NXT champion Tony D'Angelo beat Tavion Heights with Dead to Rights—despite Kam Hendrix interference chased off by North American champion Myles Borne—Rook ambushed D'Angelo. He hoisted D'Angelo and slammed him into cornered Heights. "My name is Mason Rook and I’ve arrived in NXT," Rook told the camera. Previously Will Kroos, he held the Progress atlas title, worked British indies and Pro Wrestling Noah. "Like I said, Mason Rook has arrived in NXT. And if you didn’t know, now you know," he added. John Cena voiced support.

AEW's Double or Nothing card shapes up for May 24 at Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York. Darby Allin and MJF near a hair vs. title bout for the AEW World Championship, pending Dynamite defense and contract signing.
