Savannah Guthrie Issues Emotional Mother's Day Plea in Search for Missing Mother Nancy
Savannah Guthrie made a heartfelt Mother's Day plea Sunday as the search continues for her missing mother, Nancy Guthrie.
The Today co-host posted an emotional video on Instagram with memories of her mom and a message asking for public help. "Mother, daughter, sister, Nonie — we miss you with every breath. We will never stop looking for you. We will never be at peace until we find you," Guthrie wrote. "We need help. Someone knows something that can make the difference."
She added, "Call 1-800-CALL-FBI. You can be anonymous and the reward remains available. Please keep praying. Bring her home."
Guthrie's husband, Michael Feldman, posted a photo of her holding their two children and called her the strongest person he knows. "Surrounding you with love on Mother's Day," he wrote.
Friends and colleagues offered support. Former Today co-host Hoda Kotb commented, "Holding you." Today lifestyle contributor Jill Martin wrote, "Redefines strongest."
Authorities continue investigating the disappearance of 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie from her home in Arizona's Catalina Foothills. Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos told Fox News Digital on Friday that investigators are making progress nearly 100 days after she vanished.
Nancy Guthrie is believed to have been abducted around 2:30 a.m. on Feb. 1. Blood evidence shows she was alive when taken and put up a last stand on her front porch, a retired FBI agent said.
In March, Savannah Guthrie described her family's pain in her first public comments since the disappearance. "Someone needs to do the right thing. We are in agony, we are in agony," she told Hoda Kotb.
