Men Obsessed with Inflating Testicles to Mango Size Share Journeys Online

A 57-year-old man named Marcus has spent decades trying to enlarge his testicles by injecting Surgilube, a surgical lubricant, into his scrotum. He told Men's Health his obsession started with comic books he read as a child. By his measurements, the scrotum now measures 14.5 inches, bigger than a mango.

Marcus said he remains unsure why he pursues this. He added, "I'm astonished at how flexible the testicles are. They just expand."

Men's Health reports Marcus is not alone. A subreddit dedicated to saline inflation has more than 8,700 members who share their experiences.

Jack, 31, a blue-collar worker, described the process to the magazine. "Nothing really matches experiencing it yourself," he said. Jack explained that it requires talking oneself into it, preparing supplies and then waiting 30 minutes to an hour and a half as the saline takes effect.

Participants report a burning sensation during the procedure. They describe the overall experience as electrifying, addictive, euphoric and transcendental.
