Norfolk Police have charged a man with threatening Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor during an incident near his home on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.

Officers arrested the man shortly after 7:30 p.m. BST on Wednesday following a report of someone behaving in an intimidating manner in Wolferton. The Daily Telegraph reported that Mountbatten-Windsor was threatened by a man wearing a balaclava while walking his dogs. He fled to his car with his security detail.

Alex Jenkinson, 39, of Stowmarket in Suffolk, was remanded in custody. He is scheduled to appear at Norwich Magistrates' Court on Friday.

Police charged him with two counts of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behavior with intent to harass or cause alarm or distress, plus failing to provide a specimen of blood in custody.

The incident occurred near Marsh Farm, the property on the Sandringham Estate where Mountbatten-Windsor moved after leaving Royal Lodge in Windsor. He relocated due to his association with the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Late last year, the King stripped him of his right to be a prince and his dukedom over those Epstein links.
