King Charles Visits Golders Green Stabbing Victims to Support Jewish Community
King Charles visited Golders Green to meet victims of last month's stabbings in the neighborhood, showing support for the Jewish community.
He stopped at a Jewish Care charity center, where he spoke with Shloime Rand, 34, and Moshe Ben Baila, 76, also known as Norman Shine.
Outside, the King greeted crowds of well-wishers. He told one man, "it's a dangerous world isn't it?"
Charles also met Chief Rabbi Sir Ephraim Mirvis, who said the royal visit to north London was "appreciated enormously".
The King spoke with members of the Jewish community police force Shomrim, who helped respond to the attacks on April 29.
He spent time greeting people from the community gathered outside and said to some, "I hope I haven't disrupted your normal activities too much."
Essa Suleiman, 45, appeared in court on May 1 accused of two counts of attempted murder.
