Influencer Clavicular Charged Over Alleged Alligator Shooting in Florida Everglades
Controversial influencer Clavicular faces charges in connection with an alleged alligator shooting in Florida during a livestream.
Clavicular, whose real name is Braden Eric Peters, was charged with unlawfully discharging a firearm at a wildlife sanctuary on March 26. Two other men also face charges in the alleged shooting. Peters, 20, is an influencer and streamer known for looksmaxxing content. He documents extreme efforts to improve his appearance, including steroids, testosterone and hitting his face with a hammer.
His lawyers said Peters was following the instructions of a licensed airboat guide and that no animals or people were harmed. The charges stem from an incident captured on Clavicular's video livestream. The footage appears to show multiple gunshots fired into swamp water from an airboat in the Everglades Wildlife Management Area west of Miami, according to Miami-Dade County court records.
Hours after the livestream aired, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said it was aware of a video depicting individuals in the Everglades on an airboat who appear to be discharging at an alligator. The commission did not specify whether it referred to Clavicular's video. Court documents do not detail whether an alligator was harmed.
The charges were filed against Clavicular and the two others on March 29. Florida law sets penalties for illegally discharging a firearm in public at less than one year in prison and a $1,000 fine.
Clavicular was separately arrested in south Florida on battery charges in March. He was accused of instigating a fight between two women on social media and then sharing it online.
