Influencer Clavicular appears before judge in alligator shooting case
Internet influencer Clavicular, whose real name is Braden Eric Peters, appeared in a South Florida court Friday on a misdemeanor charge tied to an alligator shooting video.
Peters gained attention last year after calling actor Sydney Sweeney "mid" in an interview with Daily Wire commentator Michael Knowles. He later drew more notice after an apparent overdose on a live stream and a trip to the Florida Everglades.
In March, a video showed Peters repeatedly shooting an alligator. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission filed the charge after the clip circulated online.
Peters and another influencer attended the hearing. Online viewers quickly focused on the presiding judge, comparing his appearance to actor Jon Hamm and the "GigaChad" meme.
Social media users posted memes mocking Peters after the hearing. The case remains pending.
