Franklin expedition sailor's DNA links to BBC reporter

Researchers at the University of Waterloo identified the remains of John Bridgens, the great-great-great uncle of BBC reporter Rich Preston, among sailors from the Franklin expedition.
The discovery came after DNA testing matched the remains to Preston's family line. Bridgens served on one of the two ships lost in the Arctic during the 1845 expedition led by Sir John Franklin.
