Fox News Media Dominates Digital Engagement in April 2026
Fox News Media dominated the digital news landscape in April 2026, scoring as much as seven times the engagement of some competitors, according to data from Emplifi and Comscore Social.
Fox News racked up 471.9 million video views on YouTube in April, the third-highest month in the network's history. It nearly quadrupled the performance of ABC News and NBC News and surpassed MSNBC by more than 167 million views. Fox News also significantly outperformed CBS News, generating more than 400 million more video views that month.
Year-over-year, Fox News held a commanding lead with a 45% advantage in YouTube video views. MSNBC recorded 304.4 million views, CNN 203.3 million, ABC News 119.3 million, NBC News 115.2 million and CBS News 62.6 million.
Other Fox News Media platforms added to the strong April performance. Fox News clips generated more than 52 million views, while Fox Business attracted 63.3 million views on YouTube. Fox News Media properties amassed 605 million total YouTube video views for the month.
The network led the industry in social media engagement with 111.7 million total interactions across Facebook, Instagram, X and TikTok. Fox News drove 50.2 million interactions on Facebook, 19.7 million on Instagram, 6.5 million on X and 35.3 million on TikTok.
Fox News generated 1.9 billion social video views in April, a 96% increase from the year-ago period.
This followed Fox News' sixth straight quarter as the top news brand on YouTube. In the first quarter of 2026, Fox News Media delivered a record 1.5 billion YouTube video views, more than ABC News, NBC News and CBS News combined. Fox News Media also ranked number one in social engagement for that quarter with about 426 million interactions across Facebook, Instagram, X and TikTok.
