Chicken tenders are not new to Costco overseas. The item has appeared at locations in Canada and Australia in recent years, according to food publication TastingTable.

The meal features several large tenders served with dipping sauce. Online buzz has grown as customers share photos on social media.

Reactions vary. One user asked, "What did they get rid of? The calzone?" Others focused on the calories, with some speculating the dipping sauce accounts for much of the 1,640 total.
