UK Prime Minister Starmer to Meet Health Secretary Streeting Amid Resignations and Leadership Calls

Prime Minister Keir Starmer will meet Health Secretary Wes Streeting tomorrow, as the number of ministers who resigned in protest over his leadership rose to four.
The resignations follow Labour's heavy losses in local elections on May 7. The four ministers joined 87 Labour MPs who have publicly called for Starmer to step down.
Support for the prime minister has also emerged. More than 100 MPs signed a statement backing his leadership. David Lammy told reporters that Starmer has his full support.
Starmer told a cabinet meeting that he wants to get on with the job.
