Drake's ninth studio album, Iceman, arrives Friday. Fans got what appears to be an early listen late Wednesday night into Thursday morning when a song from the project leaked on social media.

The track is rumored to be called "1AM in Albany," part of a Drake series that tells stories at specific hours in various cities. It started with "9AM in Dallas" in 2009.

Lyrics include pointed references to Kendrick Lamar from their feud that stretched from 2024 into last year. Fans were surprised by apparent digs at LeBron James.

James and Drake used to be close friends. James once joined Drake on stage at a concert years ago. But James showed support for Lamar during the rap battle, which Lamar highlighted in his Super Bowl halftime show performance.

"I shouldn't even be shocked to see you in that arena, because you always made your career off of switching teams up," Drake rapped. James moved from the Cleveland Cavaliers to the Miami Heat, back to the Cavaliers, then to the Los Angeles Lakers. He enters unrestricted free agency this summer.

Drake also rapped a double entendre: "Please stop asking what's going on with 23 and me. I'm a real n----, and he's not, it's in my DNA." The line plays on the 23andMe ancestry website.

Drake and James have collaborated many times. If the leak is real and the lyrics target James, that history could be finished.

Iceman marks Drake's first solo album since For All the Dogs in October 2023. His debut was Thank Me Later in 2010, followed by Take Care in 2011 and Nothing Was the Same in 2013.
