Fox steals hot dogs from Alberta barbecue
A fox made off with a batch of hot dogs from a backyard barbecue in Alberta, prompting a call to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
Officers arrived after a report of a theft involving barbecue goods. They were told to watch for a suspect with red hair, short stature and a thick coat.
Police found the fox still eating the hot dogs. The animal was released without conditions and with a full belly, authorities said.
