Florida woman's sister holds boyfriend at gunpoint, demands he strip before striking him

An 18-year-old Florida woman confronted her sister's boyfriend at gunpoint early Wednesday and demanded he strip, according to an arrest report. She then struck him in the face with the weapon before he fled with his girlfriend.

The man arrived at his girlfriend's house in Escambia County around 2 a.m. after a friend drove him there. Adrianna Barron, the girlfriend's sister, approached him with a gun, pointed it at him and told him to strip and empty his pockets, WEAR News reported.

When he did not comply, Barron hit him in the face with the gun. The man and his girlfriend ran to the friend's truck. Barron then pointed the gun at the friend and ordered him to empty his pockets.

The friend ran to his truck, and all three drove away. Barron followed in another vehicle and tried to push the truck off the road. Deputies arrived, attempted to pull her over, but she initially fled.

Authorities found Barron shortly after. Deputies said she spontaneously stated, "I only wanted to help my sister."

Barron landed in Escambia County Jail on charges of battery, two counts of attempted robbery with a weapon, two counts of aggravated assault, fleeing and eluding law enforcement, and driving without a valid driver's license.
