Chiefs coach Andy Reid says Travis Kelce is focused ahead of wedding to Taylor Swift

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and singer Taylor Swift are expected to marry before the 2026 NFL season begins.

Kelce, who turns 37 during the season, is coming off a down year. His 76 receptions were the lowest total since 2015, his first full season as a starter. His catch percentage fell below his career average, and his 46 catches that produced a first down were also the lowest since 2015.

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid addressed Kelce's focus during a recent news conference and whether he plans to attend the wedding.

"Can't talk about it, can't talk about it," Reid joked to reporters, per ESPN. "Listen, [Kelce's] been here most of the offseason, if not the whole offseason. He did the mandatory camp and did a nice job there, so it's good to have him back in and rolling. He's very excited."

Reid added that Kelce may avoid distractions because Swift is likely handling most of the planning.

"You see no distractions with that and the wedding. If it's like when I got married, my wife did everything. I just kind of followed her lead on it [and] showed up. Maybe he's doing more, but he looks like he's pretty focused in on this job here, too."
