Bunnie XO said she told Jelly Roll to file for divorce after an argument on Mother's Day.

The 46-year-old podcaster spoke about the split on her podcast, "Dumb Blonde." She said the couple argued that day and that she was fed up.

"On Mother's Day we had a little bit of an argument which I don't think the details are necessary, and in that argument, I was so fed up and so tired that I just looked at him and I said, 'Well, then file the f---ing divorce papers,'" she said.

She said she packed a bag and left. She did not speak to Jelly Roll for weeks after that.

"During that, he was so mad, and we were so emotional that he ended up doing exactly what I told him to do and filing the divorce papers," she said. "Was I blindsided and was this divorce mutual? No, I was not. It was not mutual. Even though I told him to file the divorce papers, I was speaking out of anger and just frustration. But was it necessary for us to have a wakeup call and to actually start having these real conversations? Absolutely."

Bunnie XO said she began hormone replacement therapy and counseling after learning he had filed. She said she still considers him her best friend and wanted the couple to try therapy.

"I felt like we deserved a chance to go to therapy and figure s--- out. He didn't feel that way and I respect it," she said.

She said the couple has been trying to have a baby through IVF for two years. They had three transfers and lost four embryos, which added strain.

"We're still having a baby together," she said.

She said they stopped communicating in the past year and a half. She described herself as the one who held the relationship together.

"I was always the chaser," she said. "In a twin flame relationship, there's a runner and a chaser. He's the runner. I'm the chaser."

Court records show Jelly Roll filed for divorce on May 18 in Williamson County, Tennessee. The date of separation is listed as May 9.

Bunnie XO denied rumors of infidelity on either side. She said she posted videos with Nickelback songs because the band is one of her favorites and the tracks were trending on TikTok.

"I am not with Daddy Chaddy. There's no f---ing way in hell that that would even be a thing. And no, I did not cheat on my husband and leave him for Chad," she said.

She said she is currently single. She said Jelly Roll has started dating and that she supports it.

Jelly Roll addressed the split at a June 18 concert in Saratoga Springs, New York. He said the couple remains best friends and that nobody cheated.

"Bunnie, I love you baby. Thank you for those ten years, they were incredible. Thank you for the next 10 years of friendship and 20 beyond that," he said.

Bunnie, whose real name is Alisa DeFord, and Jelly Roll married in August 2016 in Las Vegas. She is stepmother to his children, Bailee and Noah.
