Boy Meets World Star Danielle Fishel Offers to Tag with Danhausen at WWE Backlash

Danielle Fishel ranks among Hollywood's biggest pro wrestling fans.

The Boy Meets World star frequently attends WWE events, including the company's flagship Monday Night Raw on Netflix in January 2025.

On Wednesday, Fishel volunteered to serve as Danhausen's mystery tag team partner at Backlash. Danhausen faces Kit Wilson and The Miz in the match but lacks a teammate. Fishel said she would have his back.

"Just saying, we have history," she wrote in an Instagram post with a photo of herself in Danhausen's face paint.

Danhausen replied with crying-laughing emojis. CM Punk sent a shocked-face emoji. Wilson responded, "I think we might fall out."

Social media buzzed with guesses about Danhausen's partner. Names floated included Punk, John Cena, Shane McMahon and even Stephen A. Smith.

WWE broadcaster Michael Cole offered a clue this week, calling the partner somebody who loves money.

The tag team match headlines one of five on the Backlash card. Roman Reigns defends the World Heavyweight Championship against Jacob Fatu. Trick Williams risks the United States Championship versus Sami Zayn. Seth Rollins faces Bron Breakker. Iyo Sky takes on Asuka in a grudge match.

Backlash takes place in Tampa, Florida, at 6 p.m. ET. ESPN programming airs the event.
