“-I have to tell the whole world about this.” Do you ever get like this? When you want to share your accomplishments. But as a rule, a friend can not always listen, and the audience you would like much more. And you know, no one will read the diary but you.
My name is Dmitry, I am 40 years old. I am the most versatile person and never stop at what I have achieved. In my life I have tried myself in many professions, starting from the translator, got the rights to manage a sailing yacht and sailed across three seas, tried myself as a chef.
At the moment my main income comes from private enterprise. But not only for the sake of money we start to learn and try to work.
At the moment I’m very interested in things like the movie industry, very rapidly developing artificial intelligence, well, and electronics has stepped into the XXI century like never before.
In fact, now you can try yourself as a novelist, movie critic, or even a singer by posting your videos on YouTube. In the era of current technology, our opportunities are expanding.
So, I would like to share my impressions and emotions about how I sailed across these seas, what difficulties I encountered on my way.
Not everyone would dare to do it, but I would dare to do it all over again. I wrote a blog about it, I hope you enjoy it and find it helpful.
Sailing is a concentration of emotions on the high seas. It is not comparable to driving a car, it is very different.
In my case, I dreamed about it since childhood, and decided to do it purely by accident, I was offered to earn money at that time I did not have a permanent job.
The essence was to take a yacht across the seas for resale. And regardless of the success of the company I was entitled to my bonus.
This man was heavily involved in yacht sales and was looking for people to do it. I had known him for a long time and he offered me to take a license exam and learn to drive a yacht, and he also provided me with practice from him, absolutely free of charge.
He was restoring yachts and earning good money. And as I wanted to try myself in this role for a long time – I agreed, if not to earn so at least to travel and feel myself a real captain, what I dreamed of in my childhood.
All of us once dreamed of some profession, my personal opinion is that you should not dwell on one profession, especially if you do not like it, as I said above I tried a large number of professions, which I do not regret at all and continue to develop further, which I wish you.

I also wanted to say that traveling on a yacht is not just about the open sea, wind and sun.
In the future in my blog I want to tell how and what we did on the yacht, being in the open sea.
Also, I wanted to find like-minded people or those people who will be interested in it, and tell about what we used during our trip, namely: from camping utensils to mobile applications that can work without internet.
In my blog, I also wanted to talk about things like cooking on the high seas. We were cooking different dishes, and believe me, pizza eaten in the open sea and even in the most expensive restaurant is a different pizza, in the sea the taste is completely different, can not be compared with anything, and it is maximally unforgettable.
Also, in the open sea we cooked barbecue, I think it is not a novelty for anyone, there are special braziers, which are attached to the yacht and in principle on them we cooked – both meat and fish.
Also, in the open sea we were engaged in underwater hunting. Of course, we did it for the first time under the supervision of an experienced hunter, but later we liked it very much and continued these activities.
There are a lot of nuances here too: how to calculate the current, where to aim, how to calculate everything.
Also from entertainment we had fishing in the open sea, and I can tell you – it is not on the shore to sit with a fishing rod and wait, here everything is quite different, as a rule, there is a predatory fish and not small.
Of course, the equipment for fishing in the open sea is worth a lot: reel, line, spinning, blades – here is an order of magnitude more expensive than for that fishing, which takes place on the shore.
I also wanted to talk about how the sea water differs in different seas, that is, the density of water in different seas are completely different.
Also different relief of the seabed and shore, even the smell and color is different from each other.
I can say with certainty that no two seas are the same and each one is beautiful in its own way.
When visiting a new sea, I thought, well, this is probably the most beautiful, but I thought so until I got to the next sea.
When we came there on the boat, at that moment I thought, no, now this is the most beautiful sea.
So to this day, I still haven’t decided which sea I actually like the most, each one is beautiful in its own way.
Of course, on a yacht you don’t only travel the sea, but you either anchor or as we mostly did – anchor in a marina and then we explored the area we are in.
Here too, it is impossible to say what is better and what is worse. When we got to the backwoods villages, here, personally, I was taken by the simplicity of communication with people, great ecology, beautiful mountains, delicious and simple homemade food.
Also, here it is very pleasant to communicate with simple and open people. But not only near the villages we anchored.
In Turkey, we hit the big metropolitan areas. We walked around the cities and looked at modern shopping centers, huge beautiful bridges, and different architecture from ancient to modern.
We also observed the characteristics of people in one country and how they can be different from each other.
In one place, for example, cats are very fond of cats, while in another place they favor the development of sports fields and greening of streets.
By the way, I have never seen that cats are so loved, here they make whole cities for them, and nobody offends them in any way, there are a huge number of cats moving around the streets, many of them pedigreed.
They all feel quite cozy and comfortable, and maybe I’ll write something about it, as I remembered and liked it very much.
It is this attitude towards animals that says a lot about people and their humanity.
I will try to find photos from this trip, specifically of the cats, and I will put them on this site in the future, I really liked them and liked the way they feel there.
I can also say that when we didn’t get the spearfishing, we discovered diving, that is very beautiful places in the open sea you can see.
But again, in order to see them you must first show them to someone.
And the equipment for diving costs a lot, so I recommend that you always rent it, everyone can afford it.
It is very interesting to see the underwater world not on TV, but in person. We never met with sharks, but we saw dolphins quite often.
I will tell you about the minimum equipment that you should have a little later – this is my subjective opinion based on personal experience.
As for cooking, as I wrote above, you can cook pizza and kebab on the yacht.
But this is only in the first days of the trip, further on, the food starts to spoil quite quickly, and therefore, I would like to further talk about “dry rations”.
We took “dry rations” of different countries, some of them surprised us very much, and some of them were quite specific and I didn’t like them very much, but I suppose it’s all from the specificity of the cuisine.
